This beautiful Tibetan monastery has a long history, having been built in 1679. It is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan Province. From afar, its appearance closely resembles Tibet’s Potala Palace, which is why it is often referred to as the “Little Potala Palace.”
